History

1999 Small beginnings with a very special group at Liceo Scientificio Wiligelmo: Ten Little Indians.

2000 Two Weddings and a Ghost.

2001 Ratz, our first real musical, and The Kitchen, with the permission and collaboration of the great modern playwright Sir Arnold Wesker.

2002 Formal constitution of MTW as a non-profit cultural association, sponsored by the Comune of Modena. Formation of second MTW group. Dracula; The Mastrioska Mystery.

2003 A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Playing for Time. Annual performances at Pavullo begin.

2004 Formation of third group: MTW Teens, who performed Ten at the National Youth Drama Festival. Arsenic; A Woman of No Importance.

2005 Somewhere; The Wizard of Oz; Noises Off. Formation of fourth group with Thirteen.

2006 Rock Dream; Thud; Tivoli; Dracula.

2007 Killer Queen; Break a Leg; Cinderella; Pulp.

2008 The Importance of Being Earnest; The Big Bad Wolf Show; Break a Leg; Talent Quest Formation of MTW Junior with Ratz.

2009 12th Night; Alice; Make Your Own Kind of Music; The Tempest; Rock Dream. MTW Teens with Alice (selected for National Youth Drama Festival in Assisi)

2010 Bacchanialia; Alice; Pride and Prejudice; God/Any Body for Tea; OZ; Shakespeare in Therapy.
